National Farmers Market Week is August 1-7

It’s official, this week is National Farmers Market Week! So, there’s no better time to head out to your local Farmers Market and grab some of your favorite fruits and vegetables. Plenty of things are in-season right now, including blackberries, a FoodPair favorite.

Blackberries are loaded with dietary fiber, antioxidants and vitamins including vitamin C, vitamin K, folic acid (a B vitamin), and manganese. They are a fantastic addition to many dessert recipes and can also be eaten simply, with a little cream and sugar, or muddled into your favorite summer cocktail.
